No
bait and switch. Ever tried to make a reservation with
a hotel only to be told later on that it is fully booked and wonder
if the hotel really is fully booked? Or to find out later the
hotel still has rooms available? To be sure it can happen quite
legitimately - especially in the peak season and around major
holidays. In most cases the hotel has given allotments for some
of its rooms to travel agents to sell. These allotted rooms are
considered sold unless and until the travel agents, unable to
sell the allotted rooms within the specified time, 'return' the
rooms to the hotel. At that time the hotel will again have rooms
available. Sometimes though some unscrupulous operators will just
tell you the hotel is fully booked and then try to push you to
another hotel - usually where the operator can make more money.
Whilst we at YogyakartaHotels.com can not always guarantee room
availability 100% of the time we do our best to advise our customers
in advance when we know of close-out dates. Close-out dates for
all the nearly 25 hotels in Yogyakarta we have contracts with
are listed below (if no hotel is listed below then all the hotels
we work have rooms available).
In addition, on each hotel webpage we post any closeout dates
directly under the room rate information (however should you wish,
you can still make a reservation and be put on a waiting list).
